Meow Coffee & Tea: Social Media Content for a Cat Café

Cat-tastic content, right meow
Problem

The Challenge

Meow Coffee & Tea is a cat café with a naturally charming concept, but charm alone doesn’t guarantee visibility in a competitive café scene full of options for locals and tourists alike. Its challenge was increasing awareness and drawing in more customers — both regulars and visitors — by turning the café’s inherently shareable experience into content that actually reached people.

Before the engagement, visibility with locals and visitors was low and posting was inconsistent; the café’s biggest advantages, the cats and the atmosphere, weren’t being captured in a way that spread. Cafés are discovered heavily through social and word of mouth, and a cat café has an unusual amount of built-in shareability — but only if the content leans into it.

The audience Meow needed to reach was a mix of nearby regulars and tourists searching for memorable, photogenic experiences. The brief was to make the café’s personality impossible to miss online and convert that visibility into more visits and, on good days, sell-outs.

Solution

Our Approach

We built Meow’s social around the thing that makes it special: the cats and the experience of being there. The strategy combined creative content, user-generated content and targeted promotion so the feed felt authentic, shareable and impossible to scroll past.

In practice this meant a steady content calendar of posts and short-form video across its main social channels, shaped by regular content shoots and, where it helped, paid amplification to reach both locals and visitors. We leaned heavily into the moments people already love to share — the cats, the drinks, the atmosphere — and encouraged customers’ own content, because nothing sells a place like real people enjoying it.

Targeted promotion helped the content reach nearby residents and tourists actively looking for something memorable to do. The whole approach was designed to convert the café’s natural charm into visibility, and visibility into a steady stream of customers walking through the door.

For an experience-led venue, this authenticity is what keeps the content working: real moments and customer posts spread further and land warmer than polished ads ever could. By amplifying the café’s natural charm rather than fighting it, Meow turned everyday visits into shareable content and shareable content back into visits — a self-reinforcing loop that filled the café.

This is the same process behind our social media management and social media video production services, plus TikTok marketing.

What made the difference

What made the difference was leaning fully into the cats and user-generated moments — content people genuinely wanted to share. A cat café’s greatest asset is that it’s inherently photogenic and fun, and the smartest move was to amplify that rather than produce polished ads that fight the algorithm.

By spotlighting the cats and the experience, and by encouraging and resharing customers’ own posts, we turned the café’s charm into organic-feeling reach and social proof at the same time. That authenticity is what grew both traffic and reach and drove the visits that led to occasional sell-outs — a case of getting out of the way of content that naturally wanted to spread.
